EA Sports have confirmed the release of their latest Ultimate Team Team of the Week and the headline news in edition 22 is that Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane is chosen after his two goals helped Spurs win the North London derby against Arsenal.
Kane has been in exceptional form so far this season, scoring 23 goals in all competitions and his performance in the derby summed up the way he has been playing with plenty of hard work and two fine finishes.
He is joined in the attacking part of the line by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who scored twice as Borussia Dortmund beat Freiburg 3-0 and former Chelsea man Andre Schurrle who got an assist in an impressive start with new club Wolfsburg as they beat Hoffenheim 3-0.

EA Sports is hoping to entice players to get into the real world Premiere League transfer deadline day ahead of time with their official Twitter account. The game developer is teasing a few TOTY loan players for FIFA 15 Ultimate Team, their ever popular mobile application for the football video game and real world sport. The company will also give a few of these players away to the community within a new promotion, which you simply need to retweet in order to gain entrance into the running for said players.
Many people within the FIFA 15 Ultimate Team community asked EA Sports who these players would be and when they would be available as loan options. However, the Twitter account simply directed people towards the news and updates page for the mobile application. This implies everyone within the app’s community can get their hands on the loan players and options within a general update in the future.
However, the very same Twitter account for FIFA 15 Ultimate Team is also running a 50 match loan giveaway for four different players from different teams within the Premiere League. The studio is encouraging everyone to retweet for a chance to win loan versions of Kroos, Robben, Messi, and Ronaldo. The tweet in question already has a lot of retweets, so chances of winning any of the aforementioned players dwindles with each passing hour, unfortunately. Within the first minute of being live, the tweet for Ronaldo had over 12,000 retweets.
This is certainly not the first giveaway promotion EA Sports has offered for FIFA 15 Ultimate Team. The game development studio seems to have something new for the community every few weeks or so, as they continue to support their game and the community that loves what they are doing. Of course, a promotion isn’t the only way to get these new players, so keep an eye out for a new update, too.
EA Sports have revealed on Twitter that they are going to be releasing some of the FIFA 15 Ultimate Team Team of the Year players on loan for a short period of time.
Every year EA Sports release a TOTY Ultimate Team edition with the players who were named in FIFA’s Team of the Year and this year’s edition included an in-form Cristiano Ronaldo rated at 99 and an in-form Lionel Messi rated at 98.
Now, with transfer deadline day proving to be a slow burner, EA decided to spice things up a little bit by releasing some of the star players on loan in Ultimate Team for brief spell.
The news is likely to be greeted by all FIFA Ultimate Team players with the in-form Ronaldo in particular proving to be an extremely popular signing given his propensity to score goals from all angles.
It seems as if Arjen Robben and Toni Kroos will probably both be available as well along with Messi and it will be interesting to see whether or not the entire team will be released.
You can see the full team below.
It is that time of the year, when EA Sports releasing the Team of the Year event for FIFA 15 Ultimate Team, their mobile application for everything related to the FIFA world and video games. Now, the studio has released the goalkeepers and defenders within the app, allowing everyone the chance at grabbing the 15 rare cards before they are removed from the app on Wednesday.
This year, the FIFA 15 Ultimate Team of the Year will offer the very best defender and goalkeeper rating since the game has been released. German goalie, Manuel Neuer, has been rated at a 96. Neuer, for those who know him is, is an unstoppable force when it comes to prevent those well-timed shots from other players. According to Full Fifa, not even Messi or Ronaldo have been able to break through his defense on the field. That’s rather impressive.
As for the other defenders available now within FIFA 15 Ultimate Team, former German captain, Phillip Lahm, is the highest rated defender available within FIFA with a rating of 95. Lahm is joined by Sergio Ramos and Thiago Silva, the two players have ratings of 94 and 93, respectively. Next, David Luiz, with a rating of 89, is joining the Team of the Year releases. Players have been criticizing that Luiz was the odd man, as there were plenty of other options available for the developer to choose from in this release.
However, there shouldn’t be too much time to complain about the player choices, as these are completely limited. Anyone who wants to get their hands on any of these defenders or goalkeepers should do so now. FIFA 15 Ultimate Team continues to be one of the highest rated applications on mobile devices, so be sure to download your own if you are even a tiny bit interesting in the world of football.
Everyone has a favorite app on their mobile device, and many of these receive regular updates from their respective developers in the hopes of improving the overall experience for the user. Unfortunately, there was one favorite application that didn’t receive nearly enough updates, as EA’s FIFA 15 Ultimate Team saw numerous server outages for lengthy periods of time within the past few days. The development studio has announced the app has come back online following maintenance on the servers, but not after annoying more than a few good users.
EA has dropped the servers in order to perform scheduled maintenance on the FIFA 15 Ultimate Team application, but, unfortunately, it took far longer than expected. Users were reporting having the inability to connect for an extended period of time after the application was said to return to service. A twitter post from the developer revealed it would be down, and said a new version would be available upon the online servers being returned to duty.
Originally, EA estimated the downtime for FIFA 15 Ultimate Team to be around 3 hours in total, but this was extended following confirmation from the development team. During the extended period of maintenance, EA SPORTS Football Club, FIFA 15 Ultimate Team, the Web App, and the Mobile Companion App were all offline. All other game modes were said to be unaffected even throughout the extended downtime on the servers.
EA, of course, apologized for any inconvenience that users were experiencing. The delay took an additional 6 hours to complete, though it was only supposed to take 3. According to Express, EA apologized to their fan community numerous times regarding the delay. Everything should be working now, as the scheduled maintenance has come to a conclusion and all the servers have been returned to active duty henceforth.
