FIFA 17: EA Sports reveals players ranked 31-50 in upcoming game, leaks key player stats

IT’S official.

EA Sports’ tease for the upcoming FIFA 17 release has gone up another gear with the players ranked 50-31 in the game released, while a group of high profile stars have revealed their ratings after a playful promo where they guess their ratings before grading their own colleagues.

With dozens of leaks emerging in recent weeks tipping what players would be scored, gamers now have some firmer confirmation about some of their favourite players.

For example, Premier League fans now know Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez comes in with an 87, alongside Manchester City’s David Silva, while Euro 2016 sensation Dimitri Payet is a point behind.

The official release comes after a promotional tease featuring the likes of Harry Kane, Dele Alli, Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford, Marco Reus, David Luiz, Patrice Evra, Gianluigi Buffon, James Rodriguez, Manuel Neuer and Thomas Muller, amongst others.

“I don’t think I’ve actually ever seen Harry Kane defend, so he’s going to have to be in the minuses,” quipped Alli as he assesses his teammates’ value.

“As you can see the hairline is struggling a bit, so colour that in,” Kane retorts as he looks at the midfielder’s player card.

Buffon’s verdict?

“I should be higher, because I’m the oldest, and we should respect the elderly.”

FIFA 15 Team of the Week – February 28, 2015

EA Sports has revealed the top performers who have made it in the latest FIFA 15 Ultimate Team of the Week. The team lines up in a 3-4-3 formation this week, and despite some good attacking players on show, doesn’t have many standout cards.

Arjen Robben has a great 93 card, with a significant increase to his shooting stat (+7) and David Silva’s IF card has also seen a significant bump to shooting (+8), passing (+6) and pace (+3). With two silvers in the lineup, though, and three cards below 80, this week’s selection is poor overall.

The cards will be available in packs from 6pm tonight, so expect the transfer market to flood with unwanted cards around this time.

EA Sports confirm the release of FIFA 15 Ultimate Team TOTY Loan Players

EA Sports have revealed on Twitter that they are going to be releasing some of the FIFA 15 Ultimate Team Team of the Year players on loan for a short period of time.

Every year EA Sports release a TOTY Ultimate Team edition with the players who were named in FIFA’s Team of the Year and this year’s edition included an in-form Cristiano Ronaldo rated at 99 and an in-form Lionel Messi rated at 98.

Now, with transfer deadline day proving to be a slow burner, EA decided to spice things up a little bit by releasing some of the star players on loan in Ultimate Team for brief spell.

The news is likely to be greeted by all FIFA Ultimate Team players with the in-form Ronaldo in particular proving to be an extremely popular signing given his propensity to score goals from all angles.

It seems as if Arjen Robben and Toni Kroos will probably both be available as well along with Messi and it will be interesting to see whether or not the entire team will be released.
