FIFA 17’s first trailer for Xbox One, PC and PS4 has arrived, showcasing the new frostbite engine being used for this year, and also confirming an official release date of September 29 for the game.
Developed by EA Vancouver, FIFA 17 will be available in North America on September 27, while fans in the UK will have to wait until September 29.
The game will use the EA Frostbite game engine technology for the first time, but only on the Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
â€œFrostbite unlocks a whole new world of possibilities for the FIFA franchise and its fans,â€ said David Rutter, VP and Executive Producer.
â€œWe have never been as excited as we are today about the future of football and the experiences we are going to deliver in FIFA 17.â€
The FIFA 17 Super Deluxe Edition has been confirmed as a a pre-order available from EA, which will give fans up to 40 FIFA Ultimate Team Jumbo Premium Gold Packs, Team of the Week loan players, and other FUT content.
This year also sees four new football ambassadors from around the globe who have â€œinfluenced complete innovation in the action on the pitchâ€.
This includes James Rodriguez of Real Madrid, Anthony Martial of Manchester United, Eden Hazard of Chelsea, and Marco Reus of Borussia Dortmund.
They have all worked with EA to bring life to the footballers on the pitch, a sneak peek of which can be seen in the above FIFA 17 trailer.
