While “Pro Soccer Evolution 2017” or simply known as “PES 2017” is an entirely different game from “FIFA 17,” it couldn’t be helped if fans and players will compare the two. What used to be a huge anticipation and expectations from the former happened to be the opposite.

While “Pro Soccer Evolution 2017” or simply known as “PES 2017” is an entirely different game from “FIFA 17,” it couldn’t be helped if fans and players will compare the two. What used to be a huge anticipation and expectations from the former happened to be the opposite.

For licenses, from the beginning, “FIFA 17” always had the upper hand and they still do. There aren’t a lot of news about “PES 2017” getting its hands on any additional leagues and while not exactly a deal-breaker, those looking for serious variety of teams to try out need not to look anywhere else, but “FIFA 17.”

In terms of mode variety, “FIFA 17” still wins. Aside from the standard modes, which are both present with “FIFA 17” and “PES 2017,” the story mode for the former is a great addition, giving it a big advantage. While it isn’t exactly as fun to play and long enough to keep players hooked for extended hours, it does have a good story, which is a facelift for the career mode, which tends to be boring at times.

Both games are great, but “FIFA 17” seems to be the better buy as it offers more and is perfect for those looking for the most realistic futbol/soccer simulator.
