Most ISP’s modems are now duel modem and wireless routers

Same issue, freezes after not finding and oponent in fut. I just want to point out, that nothing has changed for me since the update, my matchmaking sucess rate is about the same as before. But now each time unsucesfull connection freezes the game, and it’s a headache.

I even tried to search only for eg. 15 seconds, then cancel the connection search (it works until some period, 30-60 seconds), and then tried again over and over, but not with any significant results. Been able to find a oponent once a while, but I’m kind of fed up now. Now I pretty much just play single player seasons in FUT and online friendlies, with buddies.

I can almost guarantee that most of you having this problem is because of Double NAT, not open, moderate or restricted NAT types. Just make sure that your ISP-provided modem is in bridge mode. As I said before, most ISP’s modems are now duel modem and wireless routers. It needs to be in bridge mode (modem functions only) and not interfering with your main router because of it sending out a wireless signal.

fifa13_neuer_saving_shot_wm

I fixed this last week, have been the home team in every game, and have found games in every online mode since I did it. I don’t find games in bronze or silver tourneys, but that’s because no one is playing these at night in the US.

According to my settings I’m at a NAT type 2. I do find opponents after an average of 5 tries so my connections is not stopping me from finding matches at all. Still, in Fifa15 I get instant matches where on 16 I have trouble finding them and 90% are Saudi Arabians.

Me the same, Found three games last night no problem, last one he rage quit down 2-0 after 15 minutes. then spent about an two hours unsuccessfully trying to find opponents, couple of console restarts made no difference. Like schweini I await to see what happens today….

I’ve bought the PS4 2 days ago for playing my lovely fifa 2016 which i’ve been playing since 2004 series. I’m trying to find the opponent 3 days in a row!! what the heck is going on EA???? I’m completely pissed off! i have a NAT 2 and in pro clubs there is no problem to play! I have a beast internet but rly EA, no solution for the mass problem for 3 months.

I’ve tried so many thing that forums suggest to do but nothing works! other games like UFC work fine! This is disgusting, they do the same game with a bit of changing every year and we ignore it buying a game to deal with this crap!

If I had to guess, I’d say there are far less people playing now than this time last year. Many, many people have stopped playing. Now with the patch, a few of those people might return, such as myself.

Ok I think I have found a fix for this.Try switching around the players in your squad .Like move your CDM to CB and LB to LM and then switch them back and search again. It seems to be working for me.Let me know if it works for you guys too.

Once my rep was bad couldnt find any match so had to get friends profiles to like to bump it back up. The other nat type was strict. Easy fix. Just do connection test on xbox pressed and held all 4 trigger bumpers then changed to open.

Enough lag free games too keep me hooked

So I’m a FIFA fanatic in my late twenties who has been playing FIFA ever since my dad brought how a brand new computer and a FIFA ’97 disk. The first time I played FIFA online was when I bought an XBOX360 and FIFA10. I started playing FUT and was immediatly hooked.

My setup at the time was a cabled connection from my XBOX360 to my router, with my Dutch ISP being Ziggo. I lived in student housing with only 3 other guys who weren’t much into gaming so I was mainly using the internet connection. I did use to get awfull waves of input lag that could last for a week and then vanish in thin air. When gone, I’d really enjoy the game.

fifa-15a

In the following years the problem stayed with me, periods of lag, periods without lag. Enough lag free games too keep me hooked, enough lagging games to keep me frustrated (about 50/50). I tried everything there is exept for switching ISP’s. (wasn’t always in my power to do so.)

A lot of people complain about conceding in the 90th minute which is, in my eyes a combination of accumulated lag and loss of fitness of your players. From around the 70th minute of a game I start to lose the little control I had over the game due to issues mentioned above. The lag always seems to get gradually worse during a match. Loads of times I was ahead two or three goals at halftime, but I still managed to lose.

I’d like to ask everyone that has any information or tips to help me and others eliminate this problem, as it is incredibly frustrating. Also I’d like to ask mods to direct people to this thread for discussions about disadvantages experienced when playing online FIFA.

I experience button lag even when playing offline…. playing online and experiencing any lag makes the game totally unenjoyable for me, so I play mostly “offline” Fut. I still get the “Waves” of input/button lag that makes playing the AI totally frustrating and very difficult to break down – especially on the dribble. It is like I am holding a certain direction after beating a defender (with or without the sprint button) and there is a second delay before my player actually moves… by then the defender slides in to get the ball. Other times… It is like I glide past players and the controller response is immediate. I have my own suspicions, which I will leave out of this thread. I support this thread, OP, and hopefully we can make enough noise to elicit a formal response from the Fifa Team.

To me the lag and problems started about after the bundlesliga tourney. Ever since I can count the lag free games on one hand. It’d just got worse since. I have also had so many disconnects in the last 10 mins of a game it’s silly.

I don’t get whats so crazy about lag? Plenty of other games host has a slight advantage. Cod has always been like this same with holo. 2k servers are probably the worst. Its a known issue if you live east coast and play lol. You are always going to have up and downs.

Also another problem is when testing your connection don’t always pick the closest server. My 9 ping turns to 100 when testing west coast and 120 when playing uk. You know someone with a bad connection is going to be much higher dragging the game down.

I know you don’t want to hear it, but it’s the game. It’s most likely coded into the game so that every body can get wins. If the casual or no skill players couldn’t win matches, they would quit the game. Quitting the game equates to less money for EA. It really is that simp.

It doesnt show in the normal player lineup

You can change as much as you want between now and the games on Saturday. You can have a max of 3 from a team. Personally, I like to have 1 bench player I could play in a pinch, and I generally go for low cost options for the others.

The big thing with your bench is having capable options when your starters have poor matchups, or players that can substitute in should your “starter” not truly start. If players in your lineup don’t start they will be subbed for your bench players in the order selected. Some people like loading up and having a thin bench, whereas some prefer some decent bench options.

cus1476282208

One of your first teamers might get injured or suspended for a week and they’ll get automatically put in if you don’t change them. So put who you think is your best sub as first sub (next to the goalkeeper on the bench).

There is no myth, he’s a very talented English striker. It’s quite hypocritical to take jabs at Chelsea fans for hyping up Ruben when all you ever see is UTD and Pool fans blowing their load over young players.

The people that will be top after the weekend wont be because of the obvious players. It’ll be because some randoms scored when nobody expects it. They were just in the team because you ran out of money lol.

Anywhere between 40 – 50 is usually a pretty decent score as an average, but won’t happen every week. You’ll have good weeks and bad weeks, you will learn the average amount of points people earn over the first couple of game weeks.

I didn’t threat you…you threatened me bud. The fact you’ve been on this forum for as long as you have and don’t know anything about me is slightly odd. Most people know how old I am…etc etc etc. Judging by your frustration at all times with this game or your kids…Im guessing me saying you have a temper is not out of line.

No. It doesnt show in the normal player lineup…scroll down and click the fixture. . It will expand and say who scored etc…then below that is says bonus points system and lists 4 to 6 players who have some amount of bonus points…what is that?

I’m on 19 points atm thx to making Mahrez captain. I forgot to check the game for about a week and left butland,Coleman and lukaku in which has screwed me lol. I have bellerin, martial,Costa and Wilson left hopefully they get me something.

Was originally counting on them to get the cleansheet bonus very often, given Conte and his play-style (that way the price to point ratio would be great). But, as you haven’t signed a new CB and/or RB, things don’t look so good.

All four of their starting defenders played in the knockout stages of the Euros

fifa-15-07-700x393

I’d like to see who else Burnley sign, mostly in midfield, before putting any stock into them. That said, he could be similar to Ings of two years ago. Ings and Austin were two incredibly good value strikers as they grabbed all of the goals in two failing sides.

I wonder if they’ll stick to 4-4-2 with Vokes and Gray like they did in the Championship, cause it seems Gray thrived off playing with another man up top.

This is where I’m at so far. I defiantly want the starting Saints striker, whether it’s Long/Austin whoever, 6.5 is great value. Not really sure what 5.5 mid to go for, have Fischer there at the minute but Tore or Feghouli could be a decent shout but it depends which gets the starting role.

I updated my draft. It appears Stoke are a bit of a forgotten team, but having looked at their squad, pretty much all of their players are cheap. Apparently they’ve bid £20m on Berahino, and while I don’t necessarily think he’s worth the coin, they really lacked a striker last season. For now I’ve put Bojan in as a placeholder. I’d love to keep Eriksen but I’m not sure how Spurs will fair early on.

I’m pretty tempted to use Jakupovic as well, the points difference to Heaton should be pretty minimal initially but it gives me that little extra cash to get into the Chelsea defence. Berahino is one to watch for me, could do well at Stoke. I like the Lukaku pick, think Everton will do well under Koeman, there fixtures are very good initially bar the Spurs game.

Mmm Koeman the snake. Sad as it is to say, I also think they’ll do well, and they haven’t actually signed anyone yet so Lukaku is still their main source of goals (and it isn’t even close).

I’d argue Spurs at home isn’t a terrible game. All four of their starting defenders played in the knockout stages of the Euros…and that was off the back of Spurs’ 2013901238129038912 game season last year. If Everton can grab someone like Mata or a non-fraud winger then I’m sold.

Initially I really wanted another £4.5m keeper + Hull’s Robertson who I rate as a player, but for now I think it’s sensible to take Jakupovic + a different £4.5m defender in order to save £0.5m for elsewhere (for example, the quality of forwards below £6.5m really drops off).

Yeah, I’m not saying the Spurs game is terrible just one of the harder games you could start with although the point about the Euro’s could play a part. There fixtures beyond that; West Brom, Stoke, Sunderland, Boro, Bournemouth and Palace are hard to look by, you’d expect goals.

Mata would be a good way to save cash if he does go to Everton, 7.5 is good value. I like Tadic’s prospects as well but I’m not feeling a double up in attack, especially with the new manager, just yet.

At 5.5 the options I can see are Fischer, Gradel/Ibe and Tore/Feghouli. The West Ham one I’m interested in as its a cheap way to get into there team especially with Payets price and the lack of a top tier striker. Carroll did decent for them towards the end of last season but I don’t think I’d trust him all the time.

Man United legend Ryan Giggs says he could never manage Liverpool on fifa15books

Ryan Giggs said he would ‘no longer have friends’ if he took charge of Liverpool.

Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs has ruled out ever managing Liverpool, saying he was “encouraged to dislike people” from the city when he was growing up.

Giggs arrived at United in 1987, joining the academy as a 14-year-old, and stayed for 29 years as a player and coach until leaving this summer after two years as Louis van Gaal’s assistant.

United are preparing to face Liverpool on Monday night in the Premier League at Anfield and, speaking in a Q&A session after the Welsh Community Football Awards, Giggs said: “I moved from Cardiff to Salford when I was seven. You were literally growing up encouraged to dislike people from Liverpool.

“I played for Salford under-11s and you would play Sefton, Liverpool boys, Bootle boys and the rivalry was so great. You grow up with it.”

Former MLS manager Steve Nicol gives reasons why Ryan Giggs should stay in the Premier League for his first manager job.

Giggs is currently working as a pundit ahead of a planned career in management, and he recently said he did not pursue the position of Swansea City boss because the Welsh club’s “ambitions didn’t really match” his.

When asked if he could ever manage Liverpool, though, Giggs replied: “No. Just a no. That’s no disrespect to Liverpool, I just wouldn’t. I would no longer have friends.

“Liverpool is a team who, for me, was always our biggest rivals because, growing up, they were winning everything and they were the team to emulate. They are a fantastic club but the rivalry is too big for me to manage Liverpool.

“I’m sure Steven Gerrard would say the same about managing Manchester United. He would simply say no.”

Giggs added: “I was always a United fan — my grandmother hammered it home — ‘You are a United fan.’ She loved the Busby Babes, she loved George Best. She was the driving force behind me being a Man United supporter.”

fifa15books – REUNITED welcomes Stefan “Onigod” Fiskerstrand

Finally we get to know the sixth slot and replacement for Kyb on REUNITED’s roster: Norwegian professional Stefan “Onigod” Fiskerstrand. Unexpected, but definitely a well considered pickup to join the lines of REUNITED.

Onigod’s history lies mostly in Scandinavian Overwatch teams. He started his professional career for nDurance Gaming, switched to Nordic Alpha in August and has now joined the ranks at REUNITED to fullfil the role of DPS. Onigod was also part of Team Norway in the Overwatch World Cup, until they were eliminated by Russia.

Stefan is another young (aged 19) and promising player to join the quest of REUNITED to become the best, after REUNITED scouted the young talent Kyb earlier this year. Onigod’s most played roles are Tank and DPS, with the favourite heroes Zarya, McCree, Tracer and Pharah.

Onigod’s statement on his move to REUNITED:

Joining Reunited is the chance I have been looking for since I started playing Overwatch. I only got the call 72 hours ago. Things have been moving really fast and I can’t believe I am actually in Korea with the team right now. I hope the fans will welcome me to the family and I look forward to showing everyone what I’ve got at OGN in this upcoming week.

Everyone will be looking forward to Onigod’s debut in REUNITED, this monday in the Overwatch APEX League in Korea.

On the other hand, Nordic Alpha has supposedly picked up Liesin from Riddle Esports to replace the departing Onigod.

We can clearly see that North America’s NRG.gg had no problem flying through Group A without dropping a single map. In Group C, we see that Afreeca Freecs Blue came out victorious but did drop one map in Round 2. With the performances in Group A, we can assume that some of the teams have yet to catch up to NA and EU powerhouses. Expecting Rogue to come out of Group B with valour wouldn’t be a bad bet.

With NA proving its dominance in Group A, the eyes of the world are on Rogue to perform equally well. Rogue faces some stiff competition from Asia’s SKG. Skadi’s Gift holds a world ranking of 11; this is above Luminosity, coL, and Dignitas. The only other Asian team above Skadi’s Gift – at world rank 10 – is Afreeca Freecs Blue. Expect to see brutal matches between these elite teams on the stream!

Godin suffers sprained ankle ligament on fifa15books

Atletico Madrid defender Diego Godin suffered a sprained ankle ligament in their 1-0 Champions League win over Bayern Munich.

Uruguay centre-back Godin finished the game at the Vicente Calderon on Wednesday with some discomfort in his left ankle.

Godin has played every game this season for an Atletico side that sit third in LaLiga.

fifa15books – Battlefield 1 Beta Brought Down By DDoS Attack

fifa15books - Battlefield 1 Beta Brought Down By DDoS Attack

The beta of Battlefield 1 [official site] was shut down on its first day by a group pummeling EA’s servers with a denial of service attack. And if you hopped off to play some Overwatch or WoW instead, you might have encountered an identical problem, because the same group has been attacking Blizzard’s servers as well. It is as if a dozen gaming forums losing millions of passwords recently in a separate hack was not bad enough.

The Battlefield 1 beta launched yesterday but within hours players were unable to join servers or find a game through matchmaking. We had the same problem when we tried last night, getting in just two matches amid a flurry of error messages and disconnections. EA didn’t acknowledge an attack but did admit that they were having problems. Meanwhile, the hacking group PoodleCorp claimed they were responsible.

The group has also been attacking the Blizzard servers, bringing lag and disconnections to players of Overwatch and World of Warcraft – all on the same day the MMO’s sixth expansion, Legion, was launched. Those issues have since been resolved, say Blizzard. Likewise, the Battlefield 1 servers look a lot healthier today.

The hacks are reminiscent of Lizard Squad, a hacking group that previously attacked Sony, Microsoft, Valve and others using the same method, most famously on Christmas Day in 2014, disrupting online games and forcing millions to spend time with their families. It’s not known if any more bombardments are planned, but this probably isn’t the last we’ve seen of the group. If all continues going smoothly, we’ll be able to bring you our impressions of Battlefield 1 multiplayer soon. Or, if you’re very impatient, you can try it yourself on Origin.
